I just wanted to drop you a quick note about my experience in the Handgun for Personal Protection class. Having recently completed a concealed training class, I felt I needed to become more knowledgable about my handgun and how to use it before carrying it. Your class exceeded all of my expectations. I understand my handgun and feel more confident after this class. I appreciate your style of teaching and the emphasis on safety. I will be watching you website for more classes in the future.

Thanks,

Greg

Mike,

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the class last weekend.  I know you where concerned that I would be bored to tears, but that was positively not the case.  After taking a break from handgun shooting for a few years, I needed something to get my rolling again and I believe you offered just the ticket.  I had completely forgotten about trigger reset, strong grip with left hand (not the right), etc.  It wasn't all new to me, but I had numerous "Oh yeah" moments throughout the day.  My shot placement groups were fair to fair minus to start the day, but I noticed the groupings worked their way around the target as I worked through bad habits (gotta cure that dumping).  By the end of the day I was actually able to blame that slight left shift on the sights (Instructor confirmed).  I could have spent the same amount (or more most likely) of time at the range on my own or with a buddy, but I think I would have only reinforced my bad habits.  I'd have gotten good at being mediocre.  Your watchful eye was much appreciated.

Mike
Just wanted to say thanks again for such a great personal defense class earlier this month.  What you taught us really has helped me with accuracy and speed (while still being safe, of course).  I wanted to see if you had decided anything about teaching that AR/Carbine class or any other pistol classes this summer?  If so, let me know and I'll try and get signed up ASAP.  Also, I wanted to give you some stuff to put on the website if you still needed it.  Here are a few things that are true and might work for the page:

"Before taking my first class with Mike at Mt. Tactical, I was uncomfortable carrying and sometimes firing a gun.  After the class, I was very comfortable and much more confident about shooting as a sport and for defense.  After my second class, I feel completely capable of being safe, shooting for fun, and defending myself.  These classes made the difference.

I hope to take more classes from Mike at Mt. Tactical in the future.  His style and skills certainly helped me become a better and safer marksman and more classes are the best way to spend a Saturday.  His school is minutes from my home in Johnson City, but the environment feels like there is only nature for miles.  These classes are worth the the price and the time!"

Hope you can use some of it!
